Reuben Loaf – a delicious recipe with flour, sugar, salt, yeast, margarine, water. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Set aside 1 cup flour.

In a large bowl, mix remaining flour (2 1/4 cups), sugar, salt and yeast.

Stir in hot water and margarine.

Mix in only enough reserved flour to make dough soft. On floured surface, knead 4 minutes.

On greased baking sheet roll dough to 14

x 10-inch.

Spread dressing down center 1/3 of dough.

Top with beef, cheese and sauerkraut.

Cut 1-inch wide strips along sides of filling out to dough edges.

Alternating sides, fold strips at angle across filling.

Cover loaf and place pan over 1/2 filled shallow pan of boiling water for 15 minutes. Brush with egg white and sprinkle seed.

Bake at 400u00b0 for 25 minutes or until done.
