Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf

   Mix thoroughly.

   Mold in long loaf.

   Keep about an inch of water around the loaf at all times.

   Bake in hot oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

   Bake until brown, then cover.

   Bacon and onions can be laid on top to improve flavor.

   Tomatoes poured over loaf gives another delicious dish. Potatoes can be placed around loaf to cook about 1 hour before loaf is done.
