1
This tofu is so versatile.
-
2
Ive used it in salads, stir fries, stews, soups, or just on its own.
-
3
The final product is a lovely bite that is slightly crispy on the outside, soft and thick on the inside, with a nice light flavor to it.
-
4
When you throw it in other dishes, it will act like a little sponge and soak up all the yumminess of your dish as well!

6
Remove the block of tofu from the container and give it a quick press to squeeze out excess water.
-
7
Blot with a paper towel.
-
8
2.
-
9
Cut into bite-size blocks.
-
10
I tend to evenly slice up the tofu block.
-
11
3.
-
12
Heat up a nonstick pan with the olive oil to medium high.
-
13
Dash the garlic salt and pepper in the pan.
-
14
4.
-
15
After pan is hot, about 5 minutes, toss the tofu into the pan and rearrange with chopsticks so that the largest surface area is touching the pan.
-
16
5.
-
17
Leave the pan alone for 5 minutes.
-
18
6.
-
19
Check on the tofu undersides.
-
20
They should be nicely browned.
-
21
If not, let it sit a few more minutes.
-
22
7.
-
23
Dash more garlic salt and pepper on the tops of the tofu.
-
24
8.
-
25
Flip the tofu over to the uncooked side and cook for another 4-5 minutes to your desired brownness.
-
26
The longer you cook it, the crunchier the outside.
-
27
9.
-
28
Remove from the pan and eat or add to your other dishes!
-

Enjoy!
