1 lb. ground beef (or 1/2 lb. ground turkey and 1/2 lb. ground beef)
1 clove garlic
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
16 to 20 oz. spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. chopped onoin
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
7 oz. (2 c.) shell macaroni
1 c. shredded sharp Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. salad oil (corn)

Brown onion, garlic and beef (or turkey combination) in small amount oil in skillet (large).

Cook spinach using package directions.

Drain, reserving liquid and adding enough water to make 1 cup.

Add this liquid, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, tomato paste and salt to hamburg (meat) mixture.

Simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach, macaroni, shredded cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and oil.

Spread in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish.
