Warm bowl, then mix 3 tablespoons sugar and yeast and stir. Add egg, vanilla and butter to liquid, then add hot roll mix. Flour table and knead dough.

Put back in oiled bowl.

Cover and let rise double in size, then cut in 3 equal parts.

Roll one part on cookie sheet.

Spread butter on it and sprinkle on cinnamon, sugar, nuts and raisins, then roll out the next two parts following same steps, putting them on top of each other and forming 3 layers.

Put a glass in middle of dough, cut through at least 2 layers of the dough, then take knife and cut from glass out (like cutting pizza).

Make 16 cuts.

Pick up each cut, twist it and lay back where you picked it up from.

Let rise again, then bake in oven at 325u00b0 for 45 minutes.
