Bourbon Apple Chicken Sausage Oatmeal

   Cook oatmeal - heat 2 cups water to a boil. Add oatmeal. Reduce heat to medium, boil covered until water is absorbed.

   Heat your sausage - if you don't have a campfire, try slicing on the bias and adding to a hot griddle with a drop of maple syrup on each piece for a sweet caramel flavor. This also works nicely with thin apple wedges.

   Combine your ingredients, breathe some fresh mountain air and dig in!
