5-7 lbs. country style spare ribs
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. grated onion
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon chili pwdr
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
3 tbsp. brown sugar

Place ribs, lean side up, in a flat pan.

Bake at 450 degrees for 30 min.

Combine remaining ingredients, boil for 5 min.

Place ribs in a Dutch oven or possibly a large roaster and pour the sauce over the top.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 min longer.

Baste occasionally.
