Cook rice in rice cooker and let the rice cool for 10-20 minutes after cooking.

Mix the yogurt in the rice and add salt to taste.

In a pan heat the oil for 3-6 minutes and then mustard seeds, curry leaves and dry red chillies.

Cook till the chillies are almost black. Let this cool for 10-15 minutes

Add the contents of the pan to the rice, mix the rice and stir well.

Preferences: 1)Most prefer this dish to be served cold or luke warm. 2)Some prefer a spoon of lime juice mixed for taste. 3)Some prefer sliced onion or chopped onion to be mixed with the rice (Note this is not cooked or fried onion, plain onion is to be used).
