Preheat the oven to 400u00b0F. Mix the flour, 2/3 cup of sugar, the vanilla extract, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs, yogurt and sour cream and mix it into a smooth dough with the whisk of a hand mixer.

Mix the oatmeal, 1 tbsp of sugar and the cinnamon in a bowl. Transfer the dough into a greased and floured loaf pan (10 inches long, 6 cup volume). Distribute the prunes evenly over the dough, drizzle the oil over them and sprinkle with half of the oatmeal mixture. Bake the loaf for 50-60 mins. After about 25 mins, sprinkle the rest of the oatmeal mixture over the top and with 25 mins to go, cover the loaf with foil.

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for about 40 mins. Turn the loaf out of the pan and leave it to cool. Slice the loaf and serve it with whipped cream.
