Servings: persons

1 head lettuce
1 tomato, cut in 6 wedges
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. aromatic bitters (if you have it)
1/2 lb. hamburg
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
1 c. crushed Doritos
1 c. shredded cheese

Mix lettuce, tomato and onion in a large salad bowl.

Add bitters to hamburg and cook meat in skillet until brown and crumbly.

Drain off fat.

Add tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Mix well and cook 5 minutes.

Pour meat mixture over salad, toss well.
