1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup + 3 TBSP powerded milk
2 TBSP + 1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
5 cups cake flour
1 cup strawberry preserves
1 1/2 cups ice water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth, about 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix for 5 more minutes.

Sift powdered milk, baking powder and salt. Add to buuter and egg mixture and mix for 5 minutes.

Add the flour a bit at a time, alternating with portions of 1 1/2 cups ice water, beating until smooth after each addition.

Add preserves, beat for 30 seconds, just enought to mix.

Pour into muffin cups. Fill almost full, and bake until muffins are golden and firm, about 20 minutes.
