Skillet Cornbread

   Grease a 9-inch cast-iron skillet; preheat in a 400u00b0 oven 4 minutes.

   Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; make a well in center of mixture.

   Combine buttermilk, bacon drippings, and eggs, stirring well; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Pour into hot skillet.

   Bake at 400u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from skillet, and serve warm or at room temperature.
