Simple Cheese Pasta Sauce

   melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat

   Add the flour to the melted butter to make a roux.

   Keep stiring until smooth.

   Add the milk to the roux while stiring

   Add garlic to taste

   Add the cream cheese and stir well

   Add the grated cheese and stir until melted

   Continue to stir the sauce to the desired thickness and continue to add extra milk if too thick.

   This quick and easy cheese sauce goes well with pasta and makes a great base sauce which is perfect to add ham, mushrooms or other favourite ingredients to.
