Peel potatoes ,wash and quarter.Boil until soft in 1ltr of salted water.

Peel the apples ,core ,boil to a rough applesauce resemblance with sugar and lemon juice.Mash potatoes and mix together with apples.Mix well.Season with salt.pepper and nutmeg.Keep warm.

Make the lentil and mushroom burgers or slice black pudding into 1-2 cm thin slices.Fry from both sides in bacon fat or olive oil until crispy.Top the potato/apple mash with bacon ,onions and burger or black pudding .Serve warm
