3 cups cabbage, cubed
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
¼ cup beef broth or ¼ cup cooking wine

In a large dutch oven combine all ingredients, including hamburger mixture.

Cook on medium for approximately 20 minutes until mixture simmers, then reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally.

Brown ground beef, onion and garlic together in a skillet.

Grease a 6-quart crock pot and combine all ingredients in crock pot, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
