5 slices thick-cut bacon, diced
12 medium onion, minced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
½ cup dark rum
12 lemon, juice of
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons chili sauce (I like Homade or my own)
12-1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon coarse-grind pepper

In a medium saucepan, cook bacon until it's lightly browned and some fat is rendered.

Stir in tomato sauce and rum; simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
