Transfer turkey to a roasting pan with a rack. With your fingers, gently loosen skin covering breast and legs. Spread 1/2 the butter mixture under the skin. Truss turkey and fold wings under. Pat skin dry with a paper towel then rub with remaining butter. Roast turkey for 18 mins per pound, or until a thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the thigh reads 175u00b0F. Remove from oven and tent with foil. Let rest for 20 mins.

Meanwhile, for the glaze, combine all glaze ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer until cranberries burst, about 8-10 mins. Strain through a sieve and let cool. Serve with turkey.
