2 Tbsp. black pepper
1/4 cup olive oil
10 each large baking potatoes, peeled, diced Safeway 2 pkg For $5.00 thru 02/09
8 each yellow onions, diced
2 each green peppers, seeded, diced
1/2 cup butter
2 cups KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup HEINZ Distilled White Vinegar
1/4 cup LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce

Season brisket and pork shoulder with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in large saute pan on high heat.

Add meat, in batches; cook until each piece is seared on all sides.

Transfer to large stock pot.

Add vegetables and enough water to cover meat and vegetables; cook on medium heat 5 hours or until meat is fork tender, checking occasionally to add more water if needed.

Transfer meat to cutting board, reserving vegetables and liquid in pot.

Chop or shred meat, removing and discarding any visible fat.

Drain vegetables, reserving liquid.

Return vegetables to pot; mash to desired consistency.

Add meat; mix well.

Add just enough of the reserved liquid to cover meat mixture.

Add butter.

Simmer on medium-low heat about 2-1/2 hours.

Add barbecue sauce, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce; mix well.
