Preheat oven to 325u00b0F. Grease an 11 inch tart pan.

Mix 1 3/4 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, chopped butter, 1 pinch salt, 1 egg and 1 tbsp water with the dough hook of a mixer. Knead by hand until smooth. Roll out on a floured work surface into a 13 inch disc then use to line prepared pan. Prick dough with a fork then chill for 30 mins. Bake for 15 mins. Let cool slightly.

Meanwhile, cream remaining butter and sugar. Add marzipan and liqueur. Add remaining eggs, 1 at a time. Combine remaining flour with baking powder then fold in. Transfer to prepared pan, smooth top and bake for 20 mins. Arrange gooseberries over top and bake for another 20 mins. Turn oven off and let tart cool in oven.

To serve, mix powdered sugar with a little water until smooth. Drizzle over tart.
