1 (15 oz.) can pear halves, drained

Cream butter and 1/3 cup sugar together; beat in flour, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and nuts.

Press in greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350u00b0 for 20 minutes or lightly browned.
