Place olive oil in large saute pan enough to coat pan.Place heat on medium high. Add onion and saute until tender add garlic and cook till tender. During this time open can of peas do not drain liquid. Open plum tomatoes and place in a bowl. Squeze tomatoes by hand to make small chunks.

When garlic and onions are tender add salt, pepper and red pepper. Sautee a minute. Add a 1 tbls of balsamic vineger. Let evaporate. Add can of peas bring to boil till 1/4th of the liquid is evaporated. Add tomatoes and stir. Bring up to a boil. Spinkle some nutmeg and let simmer on medium to low heat. Bring pot of water to boil add salt to water. Add pasta and cook to aldente. Drain pasta return to pot. Add a little olive oil to pasta when cooked so it wont stick. Put pasta in individual dishes or big pasta bowel. Add sauce and finely chopped basil on top of pasta.
