Mom'S Pecan Pie

   Beat egg whites, adding sugar slowly, until very stiff.

   Add vanilla.

   Mix crumbled crackers and chopped pecans together, then fold into egg whites.

   Pour into a greased glass pie pan and bake at 325u00b0 for 30 minutes.

   Will be light brown.

   Let cool and serve topped with Cool Whip, sprinkled with chopped pecans.
