Name: Macaroni Meat Loaf

Ingredients: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. short cut elbow macaroni; 1/4 c. butter; 1/4 c. flour; 1 3/4 tsp. salt; 1/4 tsp. pepper; 1 c. heavy cream; 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese; 1 egg, slightly beaten; 1 1/2 c. prepared bread stuffing; 1 1/2 lb. ground beef; 1 1/4 c. milk

Cook macaroni as directed; drain.

Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Gradually add milk and cream.

Cook over low heat.

Stir constantly until thickened.

Add cheese; stir until melted.

Mix macaroni with cheese sauce.

Mix together egg, stuffing, beef and remaining salt and pepper.

Spread on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

Cover with macaroni mixture.

Bake at 400u00b0 for 35 minutes.
