Ingredients: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni; 1/2 lb. ground beef; 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes; 1 medium onion, chopped and sauteed; 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1/8 tsp. pepper; dash of garlic powder; 1/2 tsp. oregano; 3 or 4 slices green pepper

Cook macaroni by package directions.

Brown onions and ground beef.

Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, oregano and garlic; simmer for a few minutes.

In layers, start with sauce in baking dish.

Add 1/2 macaroni; top with more sauce and 1/2 of grated cheese.

Add the rest of the macaroni.

Pour rest of sauce over casserole; top with remaining cheese.

Garnish with 3 or 4 slices of green pepper.

Bake at 300u00b0 to 325u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
