4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1 c. water
1 tsp. soda
2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix margarine, cocoa and water; bring to rapid boil in saucepan.

Pour over flour mixture and stir well.

Do not use mixer!

Add buttermilk (1 tablespoon lemon juice in 1 cup milk can substitute for buttermilk; let stand for 5 minutes), eggs (slightly beaten), soda, cinnamon and vanilla.

Mix well.

Pour into greased and floured 16 x 11-inch pan.
