preheat oven at 350 degrees F. Spray pan with baker's spray(cooking spray w/flour).

Beat together mashed bananas, yogurt, eggs, vanilla just until blended. Sift together flour, sugars, baking soda, baking powder and salt into the bowl of a electric mixer with whisk attachment. Add the butter and mix on med-low speed until blended(about 30 sec). Add in banana mixture in 3 batches, scraping sides of bowl and mixing on medium between each addition. Fold in nuts and half of the chocolate chips if using. Pour into prepared loaf pan. sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top and stir in lightly(I found this helps with more uniform chip distribution). Bake until lightly browned and bread bounces back to touch. About 1hr to 1hr 10min. Cool on rack in pan 10min, then turn out loaf onto wire rack to cool completely.
