Italian Meat Loaf – a delicious recipe with rye bread, white bread, onion, parsley, ground beef, Parmesan cheese. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

2 slices rye bread
2 slices white bread
1 medium onion
4 sprigs parsley
1 lb. ground beef
3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. oregano
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
8 oz. can tomato sauce

Soak bread slices in 1 cup water.

When soaked, crumble into fine pieces.

Combine with chopped onion, chopped parsley, beef, cheese, slightly beaten egg, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Shape into loaf pan and dot top with butter.

Bake, uncovered, in 350u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.

Pour tomato sauce over loaf; sprinkle with oregano and bake 20 minutes longer.
