Hazelnut Cookies Recipe

   Sift flour with baking pwdr.

   Mix the flour with the butter, as for pie crust.

   Place the cleaned nuts onto a cookie sheet in a preheated 250 degree oven for about 10 min.

   Pour onto a cloth and roll till the peals come off.

   Mix the nuts with the flour and butter mix.

   Add in the half and half as much as necessary to make the dough stick together.

   Make one big ball.

   Roll out onto a floured board 1/4 inch thickness.

   Cut out with cookie cutter (any design you may wish).

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 to 20 min or possibly till light brown.

    They burn fast, so be careful.

    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
