1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Let stand 10 minutes. Sift flour; add soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.

Blend oil and egg into apple/sugar mixture.

Add dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

Spread evenly in greased and floured 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 350u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
