In a large fry pan, add sesame and canola oil (to help prevent sesame oil from burning) and sesame seeds to pan.
-
3

-
4
Do not clean the fry pan!
-
5
Remove cooked meat and place in crock pot.
-
6
Add the sugar, lemon juice and water to fry pan and stir.
-
7
Increase the heat to high and cook until the mixture is a dark caramel color, about 5 minutes.
-
8
The mixture will still be runny, but do not worry.
-
9
In a separate small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, pineapple and juices, sake, pepper, ginger, sweet potato, carrots and chopped onion.
-
10
Add the soy sauce mixture to the caramel mixure in the fry pan and return the mixture to a boil.
-
11
Turn off once boiling and transfer mixture to the crock pot with the browned pork.
