Wash and cut broccoli, place in steamer.

Steam until fork tender.

Add spinach on top and steam the last 2 minutes Pour into blender, add 1 c of milk and blend until smooth.

Only blend 1/2 blenderful at a time, always including the milk in with the broccoli.

Repeat until all broccoli is used.

Pour into large bowl.

Repeat blending again for a super smooth consistency.

Pour into large pan to heat.

(While the broccoli is steaming, place onions, garlic and butter in skillet and brown.

Add flour and mix until smooth.
