Chilled Strawberry Pie

   Beat egg whites at room temperature until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in cracker crumbs and pecans.

   Spread mixture into buttered 10-inch pie plate, spreading sides slightly higher.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

   Cool shell completely. Beat cream until foamy.

   Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until soft peaks form.

   Fold in berries.

   Spread mixture evenly into pie shell.

   Chill about 3 hours before serving.
