1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
3 onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. allspice
3 cloves garlic
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf

Soak beans overnight or cover with hot water and soak for 2 hours.

Bring to boil and then add the bacon, brown sugar, thyme, half of the chopped onions and garlic.
