Ingredients: 3 pounds chicken breast boiled with a couple of Bay leaves, salt; 3 onions diced, seasoned and grilled; 2 eggs for brushing the top of the dough; 3 tea spoons of sumac seasoning; 1 package pastry dough puff, about 12 large pieces; 1 lemon; 4 tablespoons olive oil; salt to taste; 1 teaspoon paprika; 1 teaspoon black pepper; pickles or peppers for garnish

3 pounds chicken breast boiled with a couple of Bay leaves, salt
3 onions diced, seasoned and grilled
2 eggs for brushing the top of the dough
3 tea spoons of sumac seasoning
1 package pastry dough puff, about 12 large pieces
1 lemon
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper

Boil the chicken (with seasonings) and shred.

Combine chopped onions & 1/2 of the sumac seasoning and the olive oil in a saucepan; caramelize the onions.

Add the remainder of the seasoning to the chicken.

Combine chicken with onions and cook for about 5 minutes

Place chicken on the dough and fold to any shape you prefer. Press tight so chicken stays in. Brush with eggs- I like to be generous with the eggs on top to give it beautiful golden color

Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit. Bake about 20 minutes, or until golden.
