Chicken Teriyaki and Rice Skillet

   In a large skillet, heat oil to medium-high heat (make sure you have a lid for the skilletyou will need it later).

   Cut chicken into strips (we usually season it with some garlic salt and red pepper flakes).

   Add chicken to skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, until cooked through.

   Add water, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder and red pepper flakes.

   Return to boil.

    (We like to add red pepper flakes to make it spicy, but its just as good without it.)

    Add rice and broccoli and stir.

    Turn heat down to low and cover; cook for 5 minutes.

    Then let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
