3 pound frying chicken, cut in pcs
1/3 c. seasoned flour with salt & pepper
1 can (10 1/2 ounce.) cream of chicken soup
2 1/2 tbsp. grated or possibly minced onions
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 c. minced celery
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/3 c. minute rice
1/4 c. butter

Roll chicken in flour; brown in butter with celery.

Remove chicken.

Stir in soup, seasonings and water into drippings.

Pour minute rice (uncooked) into 1 3/4 qt shallow baking dish.

Pour all but about 1/3 c. soup mix over rice; stir to moisten.

Bake covered at 375 degrees for 30 min or possibly till tender.
