Ingredients: 6 cup chicken broth; 3 medium carrots, chopped; 2 sm. zucchini, chopped; 6 tbsp flour; 1/2 can green onion, chopped; 1/2 cup uncooked rice; 6 tbsp butter; 2 cup milk; 2 cup chopped, cooked chicken; 1 salt, pepper and parsley to taste; 3 stalks celery, chopped

6 cup chicken broth
3 medium carrots, chopped
2 sm. zucchini, chopped
6 tbsp flour
1/2 can green onion, chopped
1/2 cup uncooked rice
6 tbsp butter
2 cup milk
2 cup chopped, cooked chicken
1 salt, pepper and parsley to taste
3 stalks celery, chopped

In a lg saucepan over high heat, bring broth to a boil.

Add rice, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add carrots, zucchini and celery and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.

In a sm saucepan over medium heat melt the butter.

Stir in the flour and cook until bubbly.

Remove from heat and gradually add milk, then stir in 1 cup of broth from soup mixture.

Return to heat and cook until sauce is thick and bubbly.

Stir sauce into soup mixture, add chicken and spices.
