Wash and slice everything. In large pan put in order:

Sliced sausage or kielbasa

Chopped onion

Minced garlic

Sliced potatoes

Mix to coat veggies and meat with seasonings then pile cabbage on top. Cover and cook on medium to low for 20 minutes. This steams the potatoes and cabbage. Check to see that potatoes are done.

Gently mix all ingredients and cook/simmer another 5-10 minutes uncovered as needed. Serve

The only fat in this recipe is what is in the turkey sausage.

If you want it creamier you can add a can of creamed soup undiluted for the last 5-10 minutes.
