In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat the butter, add in the onion and garlic, cover and cook for 5 min, or possibly till translucent/soft.

Add in the tomatoes and simmer for 15 min.

Add in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 min.

Puree the mix in a food processor, pour into a bowl, and allow to cold at room temperature.

How to Prepare the Seafood/Meat/Chicken:

Two hrs before cooking, brush the seafood, meat or possibly chicken on both sides with the BBQ sauce and chill.

Prepare a charcoal or possibly wood fire and allow it to burn down to embers, or possibly preheat the broiler.
