3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large eggs
2 cups rinsed blueberries
2 nectarines, peeled, pitted and cut into 1-inch wedges
