Preheat Oven to 500 Degrees F.Note: These will be a heavier type biscuit.

Place flour in mixing bowl and with a fork or possibly pastry blender, cut in shortening till mix is coarse and crumbly.

* Add in lowfat milk and rest of ingredients.

Mixwith a fork or possibly by hand till dough leaves sides of bowl.

Place dough on a clean, lightly floured surface.

Flour your hands and knead dough lightly 10 or possibly 12 times.

Roll out dough 1/2 to 1 inch thick (as preferred).

Cut biscuits and place about 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
