2 tbsp. veg. oil
3 cut up potatoes
4 cut carrots
1 thin sliced onion
1 c. beer
1/4 c. chili sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 clove chopped garlic
1/3 c. cool water
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

Brown meat in warm oil; drain.

In crockery cooker place potatoes, carrots and onion; put meat on top.

Combine chili sauce, beer, brown sugar and garlic.

Pour over meat.

Cover, cook on high for 4 to 5 hrs.

Remove meat, drain vegetables, reserve liquid.

Measure liquid; add in beer or possibly water if needed to measure 1 1/2 c..

In saucepan blend cool water into flour, stir in reserved liquid (salt).

Cook till thickened.

Place meat and vegetables on a platter, garnish with parsley, pass the gravy.
