Ingredients: 500g rump steak, thinly sliced; 2 cloves garlic, crushed; 2 teaspoon oil; 1 red capsicum, chopped; 1 zucchini, sliced; 6 spring onions, cut into 3cm lengths; 1/4 cup water; 2 tablespoon Hoi Sin sauce; 1 tablespoon VEGEMITE; 1-2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce; 2 teaspoon cornflour; 1 teaspoon curry powder; Cooked rice noodles to serve

Servings: persons

500g rump steak, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoon oil
1 red capsicum, chopped
1 zucchini, sliced
6 spring onions, cut into 3cm lengths
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoon Hoi Sin sauce
1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
1-2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
2 teaspoon cornflour
1 teaspoon curry powder
Cooked rice noodles to serve

Combine steak and garlic in a bowl and marinate at least 20 minutes.

Heat oil in a frying pan or wok over a high heat.

Add the beef and stir-fry 2-3 minutes until just browned.

Add capsicum, zucchini and spring onions and stir-fry a further 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Add combined water, hoi sin sauce, Vegemite*, sweet chilli sauce, cornflour and curry powder.

Cook for 2 - 3 minutes until sauce is thickened.

Serve immediately with rice noodles.
