Beef Rissoles – a delicious recipe with oil, onion, bread, milk, ground beef, egg. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

1/4 cup oil
1 onion small, finely chopped
4 slices bread cubed
1/3 cup 2% milk
1 pound ground beef
1 egg lightly beaten
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
baby potatoes steamed, to serve
tomato salsa to serve

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook onion for 4 mins, stirring, until soft. Meanwhile, soak bread cubes in milk. Combine ground beef, egg and tomato paste. Add onion and soaked bread. Shape into 8 rissoles and coat in breadcrumbs.

Heat remaining oil over medium-low heat. Cook rissoles for 10 mins, until browned on each side.

Serve with baby potatoes and tomato relish.
