Ingredients: 1 c. uncooked macaroni; 3/4 lb. lean ground beef; 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine or bacon drippings; 1/4 c. finely chopped onion; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour; 1/2 c. red cooking wine; 1/2 c. catsup or chili sauce; 1 medium chopped green bell pepper; 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce; 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese; 2 c. shredded lettuce; several large lettuce leaves; sliced tomato wedges

1 c. uncooked macaroni
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine or bacon drippings
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. red cooking wine
1/2 c. catsup or chili sauce
1 medium chopped green bell pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 c. shredded lettuce
several large lettuce leaves

Cook macaroni as directed in boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside until ready to combine with beef.

Brown beef and drain well.
