Ingredients: 1 12 lbs lean ground beef; 1 onion, chopped; 1 stalk celery, finely chopped; 1 -2 tablespoon minced fresh garlic; 1 green bell pepper, chopped; 7 -10 slices bacon; 2 tablespoons molasses; 3 tablespoons brown sugar; 1 teaspoon dry mustard; ⅓ cup white vinegar; 1 (19 ounce) can tomatoes, with juice; ¼ cup chili sauce (can use ketchup in place of the chili sauce); 2 cups kidney beans; 2 cups lima beans; 1 (14 ounce) can pork and beans; 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce; Tabasco sauce; salt and pepper; 2 -3 cups grated cheddar cheese

Grease a large casserole dish (large enough to hold the mixture).

In a Dutch oven or large frypan.

Add in the ground beef with garlic, onion and celery; brown then drain fat.

Add in all remaining ingredients; mix well to combine, adjusting salt, pepper and Tabasco to suit taste.

Slightly mash the tomatoes with a fork.

Transfer to casserole dish.

Bake uncovered for about 1-1/2 hours.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese, return to oven for another 30 minutes.
