   Beat egg yolks; add in sugar, butter, cream and vanilla beating well.

   Add in sufficient flour to make a soft dough and knead till smooth.

   Roll out dough till thin and cut into 3 inch strips.

   Make a slit in the middle of each stip and pull one end through; twist.

    Fry in deep warm oil till light brown.

    Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
