   Is it ripe?

   Nope... not if the end looks like this!

   So if you get an avacado that isn't ripe you need to put them in a brown paper bag for a short time.

   Be sure to check quick and often because this seems to ripen fast!

   Don't want them to ripen to fast?

   put them in the fridge!

   This will keep them for quite a while actually.
