Ingredients: 2 c. Oats Uncooked; 1 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour; 3/4 c. Margarine, Melted; 1 c. brown sugar Frimly Packed; 1 tsp Cinnamon; 1/2 tsp Salt (optional); 1/2 tsp Baking Soda; 1/4 tsp Grnd Nutmeg; 1 c. Appleaice; 1/2 c. Minced Nuts

2 c. Oats Uncooked
1 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour
3/4 c. Margarine, Melted
1 c. brown sugar Frimly Packed
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Grnd Nutmeg
1 c. Appleaice
1/2 c. Minced Nuts

Heat oven to 375* F. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan.

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT applesauce and nuts; mix till crumbly.

Reserve 1 c. mix.

Pressremaining mix onto bottom of prepared pan.

Bake 15 min; cold.

Spreadapplesauce over partially baked crust; sprinkle with nuts.

Top with resevered 1 c. oat mix.

Bake 13 to 15 min or possibly till golden.

Cold in pan on wire rack; cut into 2-inch squares
