1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper

1 c. chicken broth
1/3 c. Moselle wine
1 Tbsp. dried chives
1/3 c. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
4 large slices buttered French bread, toasted

Place chicken in single layer on wax paper.

Gently squeeze lemon half and rub juice completely over chicken.

Mix sugar and pepper and sprinkle on chicken.

Fold wax paper over chicken; press chicken lightly, making sure sugar-pepper mixture adheres to chicken.

In frying pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter.
